Governor of Sindh Message

It is heartening to learn that Preston University, Pakistan’s first ever private University is contributing towards the cause of higher education by imparting education to the future managers and leaders of this country. I am happy to know that since its inception in 1984, the University has met the human resource need of the domestic and international job market by providing qualified and well groomed personnel. I take this opportunity to extend my heartiest felicitations to the management, faculty and staff of Preston University on this achievement.

The Government of Sindh has always recognized the importance of the role of the private sector, particularly in the promotion of higher education in the province of Sindh. In pursuance of this policy, it has always encouraged the private institutions

of higher learning to take tangible initiatives in this regard. This reflects the Government’s commitment to promote and expand the facilities for higher education in the province.

I am confident that Preston University will continue to provide high quality education at an affordable cost. The endeavors being made by the University to make higher education accessible to the middle and lower income families are commendable. It would undoubtedly go a long way in contributing towards the socio-economic development of the province.

I assure the management and faculty of Preston University of my utmost support in all their efforts directed towards the attainment of this extremely noble and highly commendable cause of higher education.

Honourable Dr. Ishrat-Ul-Ebad Khan
