The News International organized an Education Expo at Expo Centre Karachi from June 9-10, 2012. Preston University was one of the Platinum Sponsors of the event.

Preston University set up a booth at the Education Expo. Information materials pertinent to the interest of prospective students were conspicuously displayed at Preston’s booth. During the 2-day event over 1000 students visited the booth of Preston University and evinced keen interest in the academic programs being offered by the university at the bachelors and masters level. During the course of their visit the students got an opportunity to interact with the faculty and program staff of the university, on one-on-one basis, and seek information on academic programs of their interest. On the occasion more than 1000 admission forms along with relevant policies and procedures were distributed among the visiting students. Latest LCD monitors were utilized to update the data related to the visitor’s enquiries and also the lip dub of Preston University was displayed on LED TV. All Campuses of Preston University (Shahrah-e-Faisal, North Nazimabad, Malir and Gulshan) participated in the event. The main attraction was specialized corporate packages for Summer Semester. All the staff members of the University participated in this mega event with great zeal and passion, and promoted the University and its academic programs’ with immense enthusiasm.

Pir Mazhar-Ul-Haq, Education Minister of Sindh paid a special visit to the Preston University booth. He was received by the Director General Mr. Asif Farooqi and Vice Chancellor Dr. Ibrahim Shah Bukhari.
