Preston University, Islamabad participated in a Youth Declamation Contest. The event was held at the National Library of Pakistan, Islamabad on May 30, 2015. It was jointly organized by the US Embassy in Pakistan and Pakistan-US Alumni Network (PUAN). Students of over 70 eminent universities, institutes, colleges and schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad participated and unleashed their debating prowess in the referenced contest. The topic of the debate was ‘Education is Necessary to Get Peace’. After a tough contest Prestonian Atobatele–Abiola-Moshood, a student of BS Computer Science at Preston University Islamabad, beat his counterparts from other competing institutions through and through to win 2nd position in the competition.    

The Chancellor Preston University, Dr. Abdul Basit and the senior management of the University expressed their profound appreciation over Prestonian Atobatele–Abiola-Moshood’s outstanding achievement. They congratulated him on his success and expressed the hope that he would work harder and continue to earn laurels for the University in future also.
