Prestonians Steal the Show at “APCOMS Business Fiesta 2016”

Completely outshine their counterparts from other participating universities. Grab both first and second positions in ‘Business Plan Competition’.

APCOMS University, Rawalpindi organized “Bizz Fiesta 2016”, an annual event of the university, on  March 26, 2016. The referenced event was held at APCOMS campus in Rawalpindi. Preston university participated in  ‘Business Plan Competition’. Two teams of Preston students participated in the competition. Eminent among the other institutions which participated in Bizz Fiesta 2016 were Roots International College Islamabad, NUST Islamabad and  Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi.

Preston University was the defending champions of the competition. It had won this competition in 2015 also. Keeping up  to its winning tradition, this year too Preston University beat all other participating universities. It, in fact, it swept the competition by clinching both 1st and 2nd positions. Eminent businessmen from Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry adjudicated the competition.

The team of Preston University ‘Light Power’ comprising of Fizza Changezi, Hamza Khan, Iqra Saleem, Nayab Afsar and Nazia Kousar was awarded 1st position and declared champions of the event. The team ‘Aqua Ponics’ comprising of Prestonians Masab Rana, Maaz bin Kahlid, Nayyab Afsar, Usman Khalid and Iqra was declared second best in the competition by the judges and  was awarded  2nd position. Dr. Abdul Basit, Chancellor Preston University profoundly congratulated the members of both the winning teams of Preston on their remarkable achievement. He also immensely appreciated the contribution of team leader Prof. Humayun Shuja towards the brilliant success of Prestonians in ‘APCOMS Business Fiesta 2016’.
