Preston University Represented at the “Global Forum on Scienceand Technology for Disaster Resilience 2017” held in Tokyo

 Prof. Dr. Allah Wadhayo Baloch, Executive Director, Disaster Research Institute (DRI) Preston University, Kohat-Islamabad Campus represented Preston University at the “Global Forum on Science and Technology for Disaster Resilience 2017” held in Tokyo, Japan from November 23-25, 2017. Prof. Baloch was invited to the referenced Forum by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), Tokyo, Japan. 

 

During the course of his participation in the Global Forum, Dr. Baloch had the opportunity to interact with the global leaders on Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Management and discuss the academic aspects relating to these significant areas. Preston University was the only university (Public and Private) from Pakistan present at the mega international event that was attended by almost all countries of world.

 

The Executive Director, DRI-Preston University invited all concerned, including Representatives from Japan, Africa and Asia for collaboration and cooperation. Draft MOUs were also provided to those who expressed their interest in collaborating with Preston University.
