Preston University Represented at "International Expert Forum, Mainstreaming Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction in Education, Integrating SDG, SFDRR and UNFCCC Paris, Agreement” Held in Bangkok

 Prof. Dr. Allah Wadhayo Baloch, Executive Director, Disaster Research Institute (DRI) Preston University, Kohat-Islamabad Campus represented Preston University at the "International Expert Forum, Mainstreaming Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction in Education, Integrating SDG, SFDRR and UNFCCC Paris, Agreement,” held in Bangkok from December 1-2, 2017. The referenced mega international event was held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok.

 

During the course of his participation Dr. Baloch presented a paper on the Ahmedpur Sharqia (Pakistan) oil tanker tragedy in which more than 250 people lost their valuable lives when the tanker turned turtle and caught fire. Prof. Dr. Allah Wadhayo Baloch also had the privilege to co-chair a session of the prestigious Forum.
