The management, faculty and staff of Preston University expressed their profound grief over the sad demise of Justice (Retd.) Syed Deedar Hussain Shah, former Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court and Pro-Chancellor of Preston University, Karachi, who died in Karachi on January 30, 2019.

Paying glowing tribute to late Justice Deedar Hussain Shah the Chancellor of Preston University, Dr. Abdul Basit said that Justice Deedar was a man of strong principles. He never compromised on his principles. He said, it was indeed a matter of immense honor for Preston University to have a person of Justice Deedar Hussain Shah’s stature and repute as Pro-Chancellor of the University. He acknowledged that late Justice Deedar’s contribution towards the progress of the University has been immense.

The management and staff of Preston University prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul a place in heaven.
