Pakistan Independence Day Celebrations organised by Preston Literary Society

 

On 14th of August 2021, management and students of Preston University, Islamabad campus organized an event to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day. The students actively participated in debate competition based on theme of کیا ہم آزاد ہیں؟ and exhibited their love and affection for the motherland in the form of national anthem, national songs and enthusiastic participation.

 

A flag-hoisting ceremony was also held, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Daud Awan along with senior management, faculty members & students hoisted the national flag and the national anthem was played followed by a solemn prayer for peace and sovereignty of Pakistan. The event was concluded by the remarks of Head of Department, Business Administration Prof. Dr Aurangzeb and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Daud Awan followed with prize distribution ceremony among position holder debaters along with group photos of participants, organizers and management of university.

All the activities based on objective to engage youth in extracurricular activities with regard to Pakistan Day and exhibit students’ creative capabilities. The campus was decorated with National flags.
