35th Convocation Preston University Islamabad

Event Information and Guidelines:

  • You are requested to be appropriately dressed for the occasion, that is, either lounge suit and neck tie or properly pressed Shalwar Qameez with Waist Coat or Sherwani. Dress shoes with socks be worn. Since this is a formal ceremony, you will be required to be dressed in proper graduation gown, hood and cap. These items will be arranged and provided by Preston University to you at the venue of the ceremony.
  • For this purpose, you must arrive at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad by 8:30 am. After you register at the registration desk, you will be provided the graduation dress, and you will be briefed on how to wear the graduation dress, followed by a brief rehearsal for the ceremony. If you miss the rehearsal, you will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Therefore, it is important that you arrive at the venue before 8:30 am. Please note that Preston University reserves the right to refuse your entry to the hall if you arrive late or are not properly dressed for the ceremony.
  • You are required to make a payment of Rs. 8,000/- as Convocation fee on or before, Tuesday, September 17, 2024. The payment be made in cash at the Main Campus at Plot 85, St 3, H – 8 / 1, Islamabad, during working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you are out of Rawalpindi / Islamabad, you may send payment by a Bank Draft only, made payable to Preston University.
  • Please keep the original receipt as proof of payment and bring it with you to the venue of the convocation ceremony. Please note that if you do not pay the Convocation fee by Tuesday, September 17, 2024, your name will be removed from the list of graduates for the Thirty Fifth Convocation Ceremony. You may then make a request to be accommodated in a future convocation, at the discretion of Preston University.
  • A limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the ceremony. For this purpose you must get approval from the Program Officer before September 15, 2024 on an appropriate approval form and pay registration fee of Rs. 4,000/- per guest on or before September 17, 2024. Please keep the original receipt and bring it with you to the ceremony. Please note that you can only invite two close family members (husband, wife, mother, father, brother or sister). Friends, non-family guests, and children under the age of 14 are strictly not allowed. Also, since the seating capacity is limited, Preston University reserves the right to refuse to allow guests, after all available seats have been allocated.
  • For attending event you can submit Registration request online or you can submit your registration request at the time of registration at the Main Campus Plot 85, St 3, H – 8 / 1, Islamabad before September 17, 2024.
  • Please note that the seats are limited, so first Five Hundred (500) registered Graduates will be called for the 35th Convocation and rest will be accommodated in the 36th convocation.
