Prof. Dr. Baloch Allah Wadhayo, Faculty of Natural, Applied and Environmental Sciences; Executive Director, Disaster Research Institute (DRI); delivered a lecture titled, “An Introduction to what are Disasters? What Is Disaster Management? How Earthquakes occur; precautions during and after earthquakes, every citizen must know” .
A diagrammatic presentation about steps necessary to protect life made the lecture informative and educative.
The lecture gave a birds-eye-view of the subject, to educate average citizen about how to protect his own life and lives of other citizens struck by an earthquake. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session, which made it more productive. All senior faculty members attended the lecture.
